Alice and Sarah met whilst studying Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) at the City College of Acupuncture in London. A mutual desire to give something back to their local community and to make acupuncture accessible to a wider audience, led them to the idea of creating a community acupuncture clinic. All acupuncturists at Hilltop Community Acupuncture are are members of the British Acupuncture Council, and abide by a code of ethics which maintains high standards of education, discipline and practice. They are covered by full public indemnity and liability insurance.
Alice Douglas (LicAc, MBAcC)

Alice has an acupuncture clinic in Brockley, where she treats a wide array of conditions. She has a special interest in mental health, sleep disturbance, digestive issues and gynaecology.
After Alice’s own life was impacted by acupuncture, she has wanted to do the same for others, changing her mind from studying medicine to studying acupuncture. Her passion is health care and integrating Chinese and Western medicine. Alice brings a warm, yet pragmatic approach to her patients.
Alice is a published author in the Journal of Chinese Medicine, and featured as a guest on the podcast Qiological due to her research in Moxa, a herb burnt during acupuncture treatments to greatly increase effectiveness. Alice brings this additional therapy to all patients to whom it would benefit.

Sarah Haddon-Grant (LicAc, MBAcC)
Sarah has an acupuncture clinic in Nunhead. She is continually fascinated with how profoundly beneficial natural medicine can be, not only in treating disease but in the prevention of illness, where it excels. Her philosophy is to stimulate the body’s own innate healing process using Chinese medical theory, acupuncture, and other bodywork techniques, in order to to bring balance to the mind, body and spirit.
With extensive postgraduate training in Classical Chinese Medicine (CCM), also known as Advanced Acupuncture, Sarah is able to effectively treat a wide range of acute and chronic conditions, using a range of acupuncture techniques and modalities. Sarah has a special interest in treating chronic conditions (including anxiety, depression, stress, insomnia, PTSD, pain and digestive complaints) as well as women’s health, fertility and IVF.
Haruko Sair (LicAc, MBAcC)
Haruko practises from her acupuncture clinic in Ealing and Pinner. She is passionate about community health, in particular acupuncture being easily accessible for the wider community. Haruko believes in the benefits of acupuncture as treating the whole person and not just the disease, going beyond alleviating symptoms and restoring the inherent vitality of the individual. Haruko has a special interest in treating chronic conditions and preventative care.

Delia Baker (LicAc, MBAcC)
Delia is passionate about the interplay between mind, emotions, and body, and how their relationship shapes overall health. Aware of the pressures of modern life, she integrates acupuncture with movement practices like Qigong and Yoga, along with nutritional support and seasonal living, to support patients on their journey.
As someone who runs, swims, and cycles, Delia understands the benefits of physical movement but also the demands of an active lifestyle, emphasising the importance of preventative medicine and the power of Chinese Medicine for both prevention and recovery.
Delia treats a wide range of conditions, with particular interest in chronic and acute pain, digestive issues, gynaecology, sleep and mental health support. She is dedicated to empowering patients to find strength, softness and joy in their health journey.

Annette Malone (LicAc, MBAcC)
Annette has always had an interest in health and well-being and after many years working in an industry which no longer fuelled her passion she decided to retrain in acupuncture at the respected City College of Acupuncture. Here she learned much about anatomy, traditional Chinese medicine, western medicine and bringing the body back to a place of balance through acupuncture, diet and lifestyle.
Annette is passionate about seeing the person as one moving piece, incorporating the body, mind and spirit and believes that when these things are in balance, we’re giving ourselves the very best opportunity at living a good and healthy life. Areas of interest include mental health, chronic pain, digestive issues and menopausal symptoms.

Lucy
Lucy is a third-year student at the College of Integrated Chinese Medicine. Having grown up with Chinese medicine as a constant presence in her life, Lucy’s interest deepened through her practice of martial arts, leading her to study Acupuncture.
She is passionate about making the world a better place by helping others feel their best and believes that healthy people are happy people. She sees Acupuncture as a powerful way to restore balance to the energetic flows within us that affect our well-being.
Lucy is an assistant on Saturdays.
Deborah Temple
Deborah is in her second year of acupuncture training at the International College of Oriental Medicine in East Grinstead. She has three (nearly) grown-up sons, loves poetry and has recently taken up kayaking.
Debrorah is an assistant on Saturdays.
